Our Story
AMANAH SAHAM SARAWAK BERHAD (Registration No. 199301005429 (260166-D)), a wholly owned subsidiary of Permodalan ASSAR Sdn. Bhd., holds a Capital Markets Services License (CMSL) for dealing in Securities Restricted to Unit Trust issued by the Securities Commission (SC) of Malaysia. ASSB is the Management Company for the Sarawak State’s flagship unit trust fund, Amanah Saham Sarawak (ASSAR).
The history of ASSAR stretches back to 1992 during the PBB convention whereby the state leadership was inspired to create a platform for Sarawak Bumiputera to collectively participate in the development of the state’s rich resources and to benefit from the spill over of the country’s economic growth as well as robust capital market performances.
